Raleigh, NC, July 24, 2023 - LiveSwitch, the leading provider of technology that enables businesses to incorporate live, interactive video, announced that Michael Adams was promoted to chief executive officer (CEO).
Adams, who has been with LiveSwitch since early 2021, previously led product management for the company. As co-CEO, he will lead the executive team alongside LiveSwitch Founder and CEO Jerod Venema and Chairman Brian Hamilton.
“I’ve worked with Michael Adams for more than five years, even before his time at LiveSwitch, and he has proven his capacity to lead both people and products time and time again,” said Hamilton, who is chairman of the LiveSwitch Executive Committee. “He is deeply respected by our team for his drive and his manner, which is both direct and thoughtful. He is absolutely the right person to help lead LiveSwitch at this point of significant growth and technological innovation,” Hamilton added.
Adams was part of the team led by Hamilton that made the decision to invest significantly in LiveSwitch (previously known as Frozen Mountain) in 2021. Prior to joining LiveSwitch, Adams served as the director of programs and operations for two nonprofit organizations that sought to expand entrepreneurship opportunities for under-served communities. He also worked in strategic consulting and communications for Hamilton Place Strategies in Washington D.C.
